About the group

The Centre for Language and Speech Technology (CLST) provides research, services for application development, and consultancy in the area of language and speech technology. CLST is embedded in the Department of Language and Speech of the Radboud University Nijmegen. 

CLST focuses on fundamental and applied research in the field of LST. The emphasis is on the use and development of LST in the following domains of research:

  • Data mining and knowledge discovery (text and audio)
  • Language learning and language teaching
  • Communication in health care
  • Forensics and its applications

 

Projects

CLST is the Coordinator of INSPIRE and main host of two INSPIRE projects:

CLST is also the second host of INSPIRE projects A-3 and ID-1.
